My PDF 2 MD for desktop
A native app for macOS and Windows that converts without the browser's limits. It is not available to download yet — this page describes what it will do when it ships.
No page limit
Convert a document of any length. The five-page cap exists only on the free web tier.
Batch conversion
Point it at a folder and convert every PDF inside it in one run, rather than one file at a time.
Fully offline
No connection needed at any point. The web version needs an initial page load; the desktop app needs nothing.
Native parser
A Rust PDF engine built for the desktop instead of PDF.js, which handles long documents faster.
The desktop app will be paid. The web version stays free and ad-supported, with no account required. Pricing will be announced when the app ships.
